My Story

Why I created WEN

My story is a simple one and I am sure identifiable with most women of today. During my lifetime, I have dealt with and overcome life’s issues: relationships not working out, becoming a single mother , family dynamics, workplace bullying, poor health, loss of parents and friends and not taking the time to fully grieve, heal and move on. During these times I often felt alone and in need of love and support. I was fortunate at times as I had support of my husband, family and friends, however sometimes that was simply was not enough!

WEN was formed for women that felt “not enough”, for those of us struggling with ‘everyday life’. I have grown in confidence and faith and I am now ready and able to help and support all women in need. My transformation was like, from a catalyst to a beautiful butterfly and I grew and developed my strength and passion to live life to the full. I celebrate each day with purpose and I love all of me with passion.

I am passionate about empowering and supporting all women regardless of their background, class , gender, faith/religion or colour of one’s skin.

At WEN we see everyone as unique, special and of value.

Our aim is to empower women to live their lives to the full, knowing that WEN provides a safe haven when times are challenging and you are unsure of which direction to take.

Our mantra is ‘ together, we take one step at a time’.

MISSION

The mission is simple. To grow in numbers. WEN empowers you and in return you empower another.

All we ask is that you refer any woman that is struggling to WEN and reinforce to her that she is no longer alone.

WEN is here to help you, support you, nourish you until you are in full bloom once again. From start to finish you can depend on WEN.
